Purpose: This article is for warehouse teams running a count that verifies the contents of each package or lot — scan it, confirm what's inside, and Flourish updates inventory when the count is completed.
Steps:
- Open the Inventory module, tap Inventory Counts, and choose Enter Package Quantities. Set up the areas to include and save.
- At the prompt "Scan a Package, SKU, or Lot", scan:
- a cannabis package label — the package opens for a quantity check [VERIFY: pre-existing flow], or
- a non-cannabis product or lot label — the app matches lot numbers, UPCs, and SKUs. If a lot spans several items, pick the item; if an item has several lots, pick from Select Lot(s).
- For non-cannabis items, the LOTS TO COUNT screen lists each lot with its area — enter the counted quantity per row; each row saves as you go. Locked inventory rows are tagged Locked — enter the unavailable quantity for those.
- Tap Scan Next Item to keep counting, or Back to Items to review the Count Lines list — every line shows its SKU, lot, area, and whether it's Counted or Not counted.
- Exit when done — the count is submitted, reviewed, and completed on the web app.
Note: if your facility uses blind counts (expected quantities hidden), the expected amounts won't display during counting.
