Before configuring accounting

  1. Confirm the accounting product and company file or account you intend to use.
  2. Identify which Flourish facilities, items, customers, vendors, orders, and accounts are in scope.
  3. Review item, destination, vendor, and chart-of-account mappings.
  4. Decide who owns mapping changes, error review, and reconciliation.
  5. Test representative records before enabling or relying on a broader sync or export workflow.

When records do not match

Capture the Flourish record, accounting-system record, facility, mapping, timestamp, and error message. Review the integration-specific settings and logs before changing mappings or resending data.

Accounting, tax, and compliance treatment can depend on your organization's configuration and jurisdiction. Confirm reporting and filing decisions with the appropriate accounting or compliance owner.
