Steps to go live on Metrc with Flourish, including receiving the external transfer.

Updated by Admin CG

Once Flourish associates your Flourish instance with Metrc, your strains, items, and areas will sync up to Metrc.

You then need to receive your inventory using an “External Transfers” within Metrc. Please assign the tags and accept them. Then, click the “Sync from Metrc” button within Flourish to import the newly received packages. All of the on-hand inventory will be converted to Metrc tags.

Pre-Requsites

  • All items are updated according to the New York Specifications
  • All harvests are complete. Estimate the wet weights and record them into inventory.
  • All inventory is correct. Triple-check the weights and that the inventory is present in the facility.
  • Inventory is in the correct facility. Note the restrictions
  • Plants are correct in Flourish. Note the restriction on "Metrc Mother Plants."

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to Metrc: https://ny.metrc.com/log-in/
  2. Click “External” within the Transfers menu
  1. Click “Complete” for the manifest. We created one manifest per item with up to 100 package IDs per manifest.
  1. Populate the Metrc tag and the area, and click "Complete Transfer" at the bottom of the screen to complete this process.

Note: Click “Edit” on the screen above to view the current Area for the transfer populated within the Planned Route if needed. The best practice is to enter the first tag into the Tag Sequence, which will assign them sequentially. Additionally, it’s best to enter the Location and click the checkbox to populate it for each row.

  1. In Flourish, click the Sync Metrc Packages here. NOTE: Log out and back in to see this.
  1. You will then see the current Flourish package ID in the “Flourish Package ID” column and Metrc ID in the “Package ID” column

Next Steps

  1. Verify what synced into Metrc
  2. Take lab samples and manifest them to the original laboratory to submit the test results into Metrc. You will adjust the sampled quantity back up, as these are "virtual" lab samples to retroactively get the data into Metrc.
  3. Review your SOPs around Metrc's Retail ID. You will need to set up Retail ID label templates.
