Sometimes, your METRC API Key may become invalid for your facility. We utilize your profile’s API Key to sync data to and from METRC on your behalf, and you must have a valid API Key to ensure proper communication between the platforms.

When your METRC API Key is invalid, it must be updated as soon as possible to prevent sync errors from occurring.

Steps to Correct an Invalid API Key

  1. Generate a new API Key in METRC
    The Reverse Sync User listed in your Flourish account will need to generate a new API Key by following the instructions in: How to find or generate your METRC API key.
  2. Update your Flourish profile with the new API Key
    Once the new API Key is generated, the Reverse Sync User will need to update their Flourish profile with it. Find the complete steps here: Managing Your Compliance System Credentials in Flourish.
  3. Notify your Flourish representative
    If you received an email from the Flourish Software Support team, after the API Key has been updated in your profile, please reply to that email to let us know so we can confirm the updates were successful.
