Managing Your Compliance System Credentials Flourish

General

Flourish Software must have valid credentials to the compliance system you use to ensure changes you make in Flourish can sync to the compliance system.

METRC API Key
  • Your METRC API key must be valid.
  • Your METRC API and role must have the METRC permissions so Flourish Software can sync with METRC accurately. Learn more here on How to find or generate your METRC API key.
  • If you’ve updated your METRC permissions and generated a new API Key in METRC, or your API key is no longer valid, you must update it in Flourish.

BioTrack User Credentials
  • Your login credentials to BioTrack must be valid.
  • Your access level must have the permissions so Flourish Software can sync with METRC accurately.

If you are integrated with a compliance system, you must Access State Compliance API Credentials when you create a new user.

Prerequisites

Ensure that your user role has permission to view and update users.

  1. Click Settings.
  2. Select User Roles.
  3. Make sure to select the facility you need.
  4. Click the icon to CONFIGURE.
  5. Locate the Admin Card.
  6. In Users - Make sure that both View and Update toggles highlighted below are enabled.

  1. Close the modal.
  2. Click Save.
Log in and log out to see the setting updates take effect.
If you do not have this permission enabled, please contact your administrator.

METRC Users

Manage Your METRC API Key

Access State Compliance API Credentials
  1. Click Settings.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Use the filters to locate the user you need to update, then click Actions > Edit User.
  4. Click the pencil icon in the State Registry API Auth Info card to access the "State Compliance API Credentials" screen.
Add a new API key
Add your METRC API Key for every facility/license, so if you need access to two facilities, you will repeat the steps above twice.
  1. Follow steps 1 - 4 above to Access State Compliance API Credentials.
  2. On the "State Compliance API Credentials" screen click .

  1. Select and fill in the data:
    1. Select the FACILITY.
    2. Select the STATE.
    3. Select the SYSTEM.
    4. Copy and paste your METRC API Key into the CREDENTIALS field.
  2. Under VALIDATION click . Flourish Software attempt to validate your API key with METRC.

  1. If the METRC API Key is Valid:
    1. Note the sign under VALIDATION.
    2. You can click to add another facility access.
    3. You can click the to remove this record.
  2. If the METRC API Key is Invalid:
    1. Note the sign under VALIDATION.
    2. You can click the to remove this record.
    3. Without a valid API Key, the only way to proceed is to click Cancel or to toggle ON the .
  3. When you update is done, click to save the record.
  4. Click on the user profile.
Update an existing API Key
  1. Follow steps 1 - 4 above to Access State Compliance API Credentials.
  2. Repeat the validation and saving process described above.

BioTrack Users

Manage Your BioTrack Credentials

Access State Compliance API Credentials
  1. Click Settings.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Use the filters to locate the user you need to update, then click Actions > Edit User.
