Entering in Dry Weights

Here's an interactive tutorial on recording dry weights.

Purpose

Recording dry weight documents how much usable material a harvest yields once it has finished drying. Record dry weight before you create packages from the harvest, since packaging draws from the weight you enter here.

Prerequisites

  • The harvest must already be moved to the Drying screen.
  • Your user role must include permission to edit harvests in the Grow module.
  • The item you plan to package from this harvest needs a Source Type that matches an enabled harvest weight bucket. For example, an item with Source Type Flower requires the Flower weight bucket to be turned on. See Harvest Packages and Configuration for setup details.

Record Dry Weight on a Harvest

  1. Select Grow from the left navigation.
  2. Click Drying in the top ribbon.
  3. Click Drying Harvests.
  4. Select the harvest you want to enter dry weights for.
  5. Click Edit Harvest Dry Weight.
  6. Enter a Ref Container name if you want to track this record by processing team or trim group. This is optional.
  7. Enter the Dry Whole Wt, if applicable.
  8. Enter the Dry Flower Wt, if applicable.
  9. Enter the Dry Trim Wt, if applicable.
  10. Enter the Dry Waste Wt, if applicable.
  11. Click Done.

Flourish saves the new record and adds it to the harvest's dry weight history.

Dry weights recorded here are not reported to METRC. Creating a package deducts from this recorded weight and is reported to METRC where required.

Once you've recorded dry weight, see Creating a Package from Harvest to convert it into inventory.
