Record Dry Weights
Record dry weight to document usable harvest material after drying. Enter weights before packaging, as packaging deducts from this recorded amount.
Purpose
Recording dry weight documents how much usable material a harvest yields once it has finished drying. When you package with Draw down from harvest, the packaged quantity is deducted from the dry weight you record here.
Recording dry weight first is optional. When you package from the Drying stage, you can choose Declare & add up instead. You enter each package's weight as you create it, and Flourish adds those weights to the harvest's dry weights for you. See Creating Packages from a Harvest.

Prerequisites
- The harvest must already be moved to the Drying stage.
- Your user role must include permission to edit harvests in the Grow module.
- The weight bucket you plan to record (for example Flower or Trim) must be turned on for the facility. See Harvest Packages and Configuration.
Record Dry Weight on a Harvest
- Select Grow from the left navigation.
- Click Drying in the top ribbon.
- Click Drying Harvests.
- Select the harvest you want to enter dry weights for.
- Click Edit Harvest Dry Weight.
- Click Add New Record.
- Enter a Ref Container name if you want to track this record by processing team or trim group. This is optional.
- Enter the dry weights that apply, for example Dry Flower Wt, Dry Trim Wt, or Dry Waste Wt.
- Click Done.
Flourish saves the record and adds it to the harvest's dry weight totals, shown under Dry Weights at the top of the harvest log.
Dry weights recorded here are not reported to Metrc. Only packages created report to Metrc.
