METRC โ€“ Change Strain for Plants and Plant Batches

You can change the strain assigned to immature plant batches and mature plants, offering more flexibility in your cultivation workflows. This change syncs directly to METRC, ensuring your complianceโ€ฆ

You can change the strain assigned to immature plant batches and mature plants, offering more flexibility in your cultivation workflows. This change syncs directly to METRC, ensuring your compliance data stays accurate and up to date.

To change the strain, the plant batch or plant must be in sync with METRC. If it is out of sync, please resolve the sync issue first before making changes.

๐ŸŒฑ Change the Strain for Immature Plant Batches

From the Clone Groups View
  1. Go to Grow.
  2. Select Clone / Cloning Groups.
  3. Click on the Group Name.
  4. Click Actions > Change Strain.

  5. Select the Group Strain. (Sometimes, plants of multiple strains will be in a single cloning group.)
  6. Choose the new strain.
  7. Click Update 1 plant batch.

From the Plant Batches in Cloning View
  1. Go to Grow.
  2. Select Clone / Cloning Plant Batches.
  3. Use the filters to locate your batches.
  4. Select one or more plant batches (we will select two batches in this example).
  5. Click Actions > Change Strain.

  6. Choose the new strain.
  7. Click Update [number of] plant batches.

From the Plants View

For example, the plants are in the flowering phase.

  1. Go to Grow.
  2. Select Flowering / Flowering Plants.
  3. Use filters to locate your plants.
  4. Select one or more plants.
  5. Click Actions > Change Strain.
    Actions > Change Strain
  6. Select the new strain.
  7. Click Update [number of] plants.

From the Groups View

For example, plants arew in the flowering phase.

  1. Go to Grow.
  2. Select Flowering / Flowering Groups.
  3. Click on the Group Name.
  4. Click Actions > Change Strain.

  5. Select the Group Strain. (Sometimes, plants of multiple strains will be in a single cloning group.)
  6. Choose the New Strain.
  7. Click Update [number of plants] plant.
