Change the Strain on Immature Plant Batches in Metrc
Change the strain on Metrc immature plant batches from a group or the plant batches list. The change syncs to Metrc. Mature plants use the standard change strain steps.

Change the strain on immature plant batches when a strain was entered incorrectly. The change syncs to Metrc.
To change the strain on Vegetation, Mother, or Flowering plants, see Change the Strain on Plants or a Group. Those changes also sync to Metrc.
Metrc facilities only. The plant batch must be in sync with Metrc before you change its strain. If it's out of sync, see Fix an Out-of-Sync Plant Batch in Metrc.
Change the Strain from a Group
Use this method to change every batch of one strain in an immature plant group.
- Click Grow.
- Select Propagation > Immature Plant Groups and click the group. [VERIFY: current menu label; formerly Clone > Cloning Groups]
- Click Actions > Change Strain.
- Select the Group Strain to change. A group can hold batches of more than one strain.
- Select the New Strain.
- Click Update [#] Plant Batch.
Change the Strain on Selected Batches
- Click Grow.
- Select Propagation > Immature Plant Batches. [VERIFY: current menu label; formerly Clone > Cloning Plant Batches]
- Use the filters to find the batches, then select them.
- Click Actions > Change Strain.
- Select the New Strain.
- Click Update [#] Plant Batches.
If the strain you need isn't listed, create it first and make sure it syncs to Metrc. See How to Create Strains.
Changed Directly in Metrc?
Click Sync from Metrc in Grow to pull the new strain into Flourish. See Sync Changes Made in Metrc Back to Flourish.
