Replace Plant Tags in Metrc
Replace damaged or lost Metrc tags on plants from the Grow module. Flourish assigns new tags in sequence and syncs the replacement to Metrc.

Replace the Metrc tag on plants when a tag is damaged, lost, or needs to be changed for compliance. Flourish sends the replacement to Metrc and updates the Plant ID in Flourish.
Metrc facilities only. To reprint an existing tag instead, see Print or Reprint Plant Tags.
Before You Start
- All plants you replace in one pass must be in the same stage.
- The new tags must be loaded in Flourish and unused in Metrc.
- The plants must be in sync with Metrc.
Replace Plant Tags
- Click Grow and open the plants view for the stage, for example Vegetation > Veg Plants.
- Select the plants. Ctrl/Cmd + click selects individual rows, and Shift + click selects a range.
- Click Actions > Replace Tags.
- To add more plants, scan them or search in the Replace Plant Tags window. To remove one, click the X next to it.
- In the tag search field, scan or type the first new tag and select it.
- Click Apply. Flourish assigns tags in sequence, starting from the tag you selected.
- To change one plant's new tag, click the X next to it and select a different tag.
- Check the Replacement Date. It defaults to now.
- Click Replace Tags.
If a plant you add is in a different stage, Flourish shows an error. Remove it and replace its tag in a separate pass.
Replace Plant Batch Tags
In states that tag immature plant batches, you can also replace a batch tag.
Replaced Directly in Metrc?
Click Sync from Metrc in Grow to pull the new tag into Flourish. See Sync Changes Made in Metrc Back to Flourish.
