METRC – "Replace Tag" for Plants and Plant Batches

Flourish supports METRC’s “Replace Tag” functionality, allowing you to replace tags for one or multiple plants or plant batches in the same growth phase.

🔄 When to Use

Use this feature when:

• Tags are damaged or lost
• Tags need to be reassigned to new identifiers
• You're required to update tags in compliance with METRC regulations

💡 Notes

• All selected plants must be in the same growth phase.
• Ensure the tags you're assigning are active and unused in METRC.
• You can replace tags for both individual plants and plant batches.

✅ How to Replace Plant Tags

1. Navigate to the Grow Module.
2. Open the growth phase where your target plants are located. (Example: “Plants in Vegetative”)
3. Select one or multiple plants. See the tips at the top of the list.
4. Click Action > Replace Tags to open the Replace Tags Module.

   

5. Use a scanner or the search bar to add plants to the list.
   If a plant is not in the same growth phase, an error will appear.
   
6. Click the X to the right of any plant to remove it from the list.

   

7. Assign New Tags:
   1. Scan or type the first tag ID to apply in the tag search field.
   2. Select the starting tag. Tags will be assigned sequentially.

      

   3. Click Apply to assign tags to each plant in sequence.

      

8. To change a tag, click the X next to the tag ID and select a new one.

   

9. The Replacement Date defaults to Now. Adjust the date if needed.
10. Click Replace Tags to submit the change to METRC.
