Fix an Out-of-Sync Plant Batch in Metrc

Fix an immature plant batch Metrc rejected for an invalid package tag, batch tag or name, origin plant, or strain, then retry the sync from Flourish.

If Metrc rejects a new immature plant batch because a tag, origin, or strain is invalid, you can fix the value in Flourish and retry the sync. You don't need to delete and recreate the batch.

Package tag

The tag used for the interim clone package was already used or isn't active in Metrc.

Select a different package tag.

Plant batch tag

The new batch tag, or the origin batch tag, is invalid. For example, the origin batch has no untracked plants left.

Select a new plant batch tag, or a different origin batch.

Plant batch name

The name is already used in Metrc, or the origin batch is invalid.

Enter a new name, or select a different origin batch.

Origin plant tag

The mother or mature plant is already dead or harvested in Metrc.

Select a different origin plant.

Strain

The strain was deactivated in Metrc. The error reads like: Strain Name "Blue Dream" does not exist in the current facility.

Reactivate the strain in Metrc, sync it to Flourish, then retry. See Re-Sync an Out-of-Sync Strain in Metrc.

Fix and Retry the Sync

  1. Click Grow.
  2. Select Propagation > Immature Plant Batches. [VERIFY: current menu label; formerly Clone > Cloning Plant Batches]
  3. Click the out-of-sync icon next to the batch.

  4. Read the error in the Sync Status Detail window. It names the invalid value, for example "Tag ... is not valid."

  5. Select a new value in the field shown, for example a different package tag.

  6. Click Retry Sync.

If more than one value is invalid, for example both the package tag and the plant batch tag, the window shows a field for each. Update them all before you retry.
