Creating a Till

In order to start taking payments at the point of sale, you'll need to make sure that you have at least one till created. You can create new tills and manage existing ones from Settings > Retail > Tills.

What is a Till?

In Flourish, a till is a digital representation of the payments that you accept at the point of sale. Usually, they represent a physical cash drawer.

Creating a Till

  1. In Flourish, click on Settings > Retail > Tills.
  2. Select the correct facility from the dropdown.
  3. Select the Tills section, then click the New Till button.
  4. Enter a till name and description.
  5. Click Save.

Editing a Till

You can edit a till after it’s been created if you need to make changes to the name, edit the description, or disable it.

  1. In Flourish, click on Settings > Retail > Tills.
  2. Select the Tills section, then click on your till's name.
  3. Click the Edit button in the top right corner.
  4. Make the desired changes, then click Save.
Turning the Enabled toggle off will disable the till so it can no longer be used. Your till must be closed before it can be disabled.
