Generate or Reset External API key

Get the API Key
Do you need an external API key? follow the steps below:
- Login to Flourish Software
- Go to Settings.
- Select Users.
- Click on the user email that you wish to generate this API key for.Note: Actions taken via the External API that create or edit an object will be logged as if done by the user tied to the API key
- In the user profile, click Edit on the top right of the page
- Finally, click on Generate API Key
- If you already had an External API Key and you need to reset it, the button is

- Use the
icons to copy the Username and the External API Key and save them somewhere safe!
This Username and External API key will only be shown once.
- Click Save.
Zapier Users
If using Zapier, use the credentials generated to authenticate using Basic Auth. For example, see where to use the "Username" and "External API Key" in the Zapier input below:
