My Package is out of sync - Location Invalid

Sync your package

You can sync your packages in two ways:

  • Sync the Area to METRC and resync the package.
  • Select another Area and resync the package. With some packages, METRC allows users to resync the package after selecting a valid Area (and, for some, depending on your settings, selecting a FLourish Location)

Sync The Area

In general, this is what you will do:

  1. Set the METRC Location Type for your Inventory Area.
  2. Make sure the Inventory Area is In Sync.
  3. Retry Sync o the package.

Follow the steps to sync your package
  1. Click the sign
  2. The Sync Status Detail is: The Location "XXXXXXX" is invalid. Please ensure the name is correct.
  3. That means that you should set the METRC Location Type for your Inventory and Cultivation Areas. Please follow Step 2 - preparing for METRC CA Location Functionality for Microbusinesses.
  4. After you set the Set METRC Location Type for your Inventory Areas and the Areas are in sync, go back to your Inventory screen.
  5. Locate your package and click the sign.
  6. Click the
  7. Refresh the screen or click the icon next to All Packages
  8. Your Package should be back in Sync!
If you have multiple packages out of sync with the same Area, use the Bulk Actions: Locate Packages after you sync the Area.

Select A Valid Area

You may have created a package or moved it to an area not in sync with METRC. You can select a different Area and put the package back in sync with METRC. You may have had an area that was not valid in METRC, but it is valid now, so you can select the Area and put the package back in sync with METRC.

With some packages, METRC allows users to resync the package after selecting a valid Area (and, for some, depending on your settings, selecting a FLourish Location)

Follow the steps to sync your package
  1. Click the sign
  2. The Sync Status Detail is: The Location "XXXXXXX" is invalid. Please ensure the name is correct.
  3. Select an Area - not the Type of the Area to help you select the Area you need
  4. Select a Location
  5. Click the
  6. Refresh the screen or click the icon next to All Packages
  7. Your Package should be back in Sync!
If you created a new package that is out of sync, you can also Undo the Package.
