Connecticut BioTrack Category Conversions
Definitions
- A Class in Flourish Software is a group of Inventory types in BioTrack (for example, Lot Products, Intermediate Products, and End Products).
- A Category in Flourish Software is Inventory Type in BioTrack (for example, Flower Lot to Hush and Vape Cartridge).
In BioTrack, inventory conversions progress from Lot Products to Intermediate Products and then to End Products. The inventory type is defined in Flourish by the item's class. Categories exist under item classes.
The ability to convert inventory may be restricted by license type. Most inventory conversion happens at the Processor or Manufacturer license types.
For example, you can convert Intermediate Products into other Intermediate Products or End Products. However, you can never convert Intermediate Products back into Lot Products. Restrictions, especially between Intermediate Products and End Products, depend on ‘mapping’ between the inventory's categories, with general guidance detailed below.
