Definitions

  • A Class in Flourish Software refers to the phase of the product in BioTrack. These include Cultivation Products, Lot Products, Intermediate Products, and End Products.
  • A Category in Flourish Software is Inventory Type in BioTrack (for example, Flower Lot, Hash, Vape Cartridge, etc.).

Cultivation Products

This includes seeds, clones, and flower or other material initially created during the harvest process.

Lot Product

After harvest, all flower and other material becomes either:

  • Flower Lot
  • Other Material Lot

Each receives a lot number for tracking purposes.

Intermediate Product

Intermediate products include extracts and mixed flower/trim.

End Products

End Products are the final retail-ready stage of inventory.

The ability to convert inventory is restricted by license type. Most inventory conversions take place under a Processor or Manufacturer license.

For example, you can convert Intermediate Products into other Intermediate Products or End Products. However, you can never convert Intermediate Products back into Lot Products. Restrictions, especially between Intermediate Products and End Products, depend on ‘mapping’ between the inventory's categories, with general guidance detailed below. Reference this help document to learn more about BioTrack Inventory management.

If you plan on selling flower to a processor, be sure it's a "Flower Lot" product and not a "Usable Cannabis/Marijuana" product. Otherwise, the processor will not be able to use it to make other end products.

Category Conversions Matrix

Here is a link to the Connecticut BioTrack Conversion Chart, which visualizes how inventory can move from one form to another.

Use this matrix for a quick reference for conversions. The left column shows the Different Classes and Categories. Each category has a line. Use the scroll bars to scroll to the right and left. If the cell is green, you can convert it to the category in the column's header.

For example:

  • Find "Bubble Hash" in the left column to
see what you can convert "Bubble Hash" to.
(See the red frame here -->)
  • Use the scroll to move to the right and see the categories that are the heads of the columns.
  • You can convert "Bubble Hash" to 'Hash'
    (Green Cell).
  • You cannot convert "Bubble Hash" to "Food Grade Solvent Extract" (Red Cell)
