BioTrack Imposed Operational Limitations

This document is specific to the Florida BioTrack STS Integration for Flourish Software

Inventory Conversion to Larger Quantity

Users can not create a quantity larger than 1g of the input quantity. Flourish automates an adjustment to achieve this workflow.

Ex: Formulated Tincture with an input of 1 gram and an output of 100 grams after adding non-cannabis ingredients.

QA Sample Sequencing

Lab results attach to a specific package ID, not to a batch. This makes the order of operations matter, but it is not a blocker: take the QA sample from the source package before you split it, and the result will apply to the source package and to every package split from it.

Once the sample exists on the source package, you can split right away. You do not need to wait for the result to come back. Splitting a source package whose result is still PENDING is supported.

The failure case is splitting a source package that has no sample yet. If the source package's External Lab Test Result is Blank when you split it, the resulting packages stay Blank permanently, even after the source package's result arrives, and each one would need its own sample.

Final Goods Split/Combine Not Supported

Users can not recombine packages of finished goods after splitting into multiple packages. We automate an adjustment to work around this. Ex: Make 200 boxes of 25 and decide to combine 4 boxes to a box of 100. This is not allowed.

Outbound - Package Limitation

BioTrack only allows 1,000 packages on an outbound manifest

Outbound - Multi-Order Stop Limitation

BioTrack does not support multiple stops to the same location, so do not put two orders for the same customer on the same shipment. Flourish blocks this for you.

Retail Deliveries: Multiple Deliveries on a Single Stop

BioTrack doesn't support putting multiple orders for one customer on a delivery route. Please combine retail orders if there are multiple.

Harvest - Plant Count Limit

Harvests can only be created with up to 1000 plants due to limitations in the API. However, additional plants can be added to a harvest after the harvest has been created.
