Partially Harvest Plants (Create a Manicure Harvest)

Purpose

A manicure harvest lets you harvest part of a plant, such as the tops, while the rest of the plant stays in the ground. This is common with large outdoor plants, where buds from different parts of the plant can produce different quality product. Each manicure becomes its own harvest, so you can weigh, dry, and package each cut separately.

Prerequisites

Manicure harvests must be turned on for the facility:

1. Click the Settings gear icon.
2. Select Configurations, then select the facility.
3. Click Cultivation in the left menu.
4. Turn on Enable manicure harvests. Changes save automatically.

   

Create a Manicure Harvest

1. Select your Cultivation or Microbusiness facility from the facility menu at the top left.

   

2. Select Grow from the left navigation.
3. Click Flowering in the top ribbon, then select Flowering Groups.

   

4. Select the flowering group you want to manicure.
5. Click Actions and select Manicure group.

   

6. On the Create Manicure screen, select the New Manicure Area and review the other fields.
7. Click Save.

   

Flourish opens the new manicure harvest. Its name is the original group name followed by (m), for example CN7-2020-07-14 (m), and it appears in your list of harvests.

Next Steps

From here, a manicure harvest works like any other harvest:

1. Click Edit Manicure Wet Weight to record wet weights.
2. Move the harvest to Drying when it's ready.
3. Package it. See Create Packages from a Harvest.
4. Complete the harvest when you're done. See Complete or Reopen a Harvest.
