This document is specific to the New York BioTrack STS Integration for Flourish Software

Retail Void

Use the void function to remove a sale that was made in error. The purchase will remain in BioTrack but in a voided state. It can be cancelled or re-checked out in Flourish.

To maintain the integrity of till reporting, you may only void a transaction on a till that occurred during the current Till Session. If you have since closed the till, you will not be able to void the transaction. Please contact support for assistance.

Retail Refund and Restock

If a customer returns a product due to a defect or other acceptable reason, the store has two choices.

Refund and accept the inventory back

Refund the line item or part of the line item. Choose the "Restock" function.

  • This will generate a new package ID for the item and quantity. This can only be destroyed or shipped to a facility to be destroyed.

Refund without accepting the inventory back

Refund the line item or part of the line item. Do not choose the "Restock" function.

  • This will refund the monetary value designated
  • The inventory does not come back into inventory

FAQ

Is it possible to refund a sale multiple times? 

A sale can have multiple refunds against it, but each line item cannot be refunded multiple times. i.e. if 5 gummies were sold as one line item, and then 3 gummies are refunded today and the customer comes in the following day wanting a refund on the 4th gummy, it would not be possible.

Is it possible to refund a sale at a different retail location from where the sale was originally completed?

Yes, New York allows this.
