Selling Cannabis Inventory by Lot
When cannabis is harvested, when production batches are created, or when an amount of product is made that is not sold under the same label it will be assigned a lot number. This lot number is used as a number to associate all other product that was created together or under the same conditions.
When you are making an outbound order you are able to sell a whole lot number instead of assigning all of the individual packages that you created from that lot. In order to do this you must turn the feature on. First go to Manage Settings > Configuration > Outbound and toggle on "Sell cannabis inventory by lot".
On your outbound order line item, this will allow you to optionally limit the inventory selection by lot or batch before allocation.
