Sell Cannabis Inventory by Lot

When cannabis is harvested, production batches are created, or an amount of product is made that is not sold under the same label, it is assigned a lot number. This lot number is used to associate all other products created together or under the same conditions.

When you make an outbound order, you can sell a whole lot number instead of assigning all the individual packages you created from that lot. To do this, you must turn the feature on.

  1. Go to Manage Settings.
  2. Click Configuration.
  3. Select the Facility you want to edit.
  4. Locate Outbound.
  5. Toggle on "Sell cannabis inventory by lot."
  6. Changes are saved automatically.

Once you do that, two things happen:

  1. This setting limits the inventory selection by lot or batch before allocating your outbound order line item.
  2. Your Invoice PDF will include the Batch/lot #
