In addition to tills, Flourish contains a vault to help you store and track your money. Within those vaults, you can create Sub-Vaults, which help to better organize your cash.

What is a Sub-Vault?

A Sub-Vault is a Vault within your Vault! If you want to track the cash in your Vault separately (for example, to make change or keep track of found money), consider using a Sub-Vault or two!

Just like Vaults, Sub-Vaults are always open. This means you don't need to remember to open and close Sub-Vaults.

Vaults and Sub-Vaults will appear in blue on the Retail > Tills > Manage Tills page. This makes it easy to differentiate between vaults and tills at a glance!

Creating a Sub-Vault

  1. In Flourish, navigate to Settings > Retail > Tills.
  2. Select the correct facility from the dropdown.
  3. Select the Vaults and Sub-Vaults section, then click the New Sub-Vault button.
  4. Select the Parent Vault from the dropdown.
Your facility will generally have one Vault. If you need more than one vault per facility, please reach out to our support team.
  1. Enter the name of the Sub-Vault in the Sub-Vault Name field.
  2. Enter a description for your Sub-Vault. This is optional.
  1. When you're done, click Save.

Editing a Sub-Vault

  1. In Flourish, click on Settings > Retail > Tills.
  2. Select the Vaults and Sub-Vaults section, then click your Sub-Vault's name.
  3. Click the Edit button in the top right corner.
  4. Make the desired changes, then click Save.
Please email Support to disable a sub-vault. This is a known issue. The help doc will be updated when we release the ability to do this within the application.
