Changing the UOM of a Harvest's Wet Weight

Updated by NIr Malchy

Flourish allows you to specify the unit of measure (UOM) of your harvests' wet weights. If you record your weights incorrectly — using kilograms instead of grams, for example — you can either convert your weights to the correct UOM or update the UOM without changing the weights.

Before We Begin

Remember that you can set a default UOM for your harvest weights. You can change the UOM for your harvest later, but Flourish will use your default selection automatically.

You cannot change the UOM of a harvest after moving it to the Processing module in Flourish or after you've synced your harvest to METRC. Your dry weights will be the same UOM as your wet weights.

Updating the UOM

If you need to update the UOM of your harvest, follow the steps below.

  1. In Flourish, navigate to Grow > Harvest > Harvests.
  2. Locate the harvest, then click the harvest name.
  3. Click the Edit Harvest Wet Weight button.
  4. Click the pencil icon next to the All Weights In text.
  1. Click the dropdown and select your preferred UOM.
  2. Click the save icon to save the UOM.

A confirmation modal will appear. Based on your choice in that modal, you can either update the UOM or change the UOM and convert your weights to the new UOM.

Changing Only the UOM

If you recorded your weights in the wrong UOM but the weights are correct, you can update just the UOM without changing the weights.

  1. Follow all of the steps above.
  2. In the Update Harvest Weight UOM modal, click Update without checking the box.
This will update only the UOM. For example, 1,000 g will be updated to 1,000 kg.

Converting Your Weights

If you need to convert your existing weights — from grams to kilograms, for example — you can do so by checking the box to convert weights.

  1. Follow all of the steps above.
  2. In the Update Harvest Weight UOM modal, check the checkbox, then click Update.
This will update only the UOM and convert the weight to the new UOM. For example, 1,000 g will be updated to 1 kg.
