Retail POS - Allow to Allocate Inventory to a Purchase Order Manually

Control Manual Package Allocation for Retail Orders

Purpose

Control whether budtenders can manually select packages, or only scan them, when allocating inventory to a retail purchase order line. When Manually allocate inventory is checked, users can scan or manually select packages to allocate to the order line. When it is unchecked, users can only scan packages to allocate.

Prerequisites

You need access to User Roles in Settings.

Steps

1. Click the gear icon (Settings).
2. Select User Roles.
3. Select Point of Sale.
4. Click the Configure icon next to the role.
5. Locate the Shop card.
6. Next to Cart, click Actions to open the Action for Shop Cart modal.
7. Check or uncheck the box for Manually allocate inventory.
8. Click the X to close the Action for Shop Cart window.
9. Click Save.
