Un-sync an Item from a METRC Facility - Delete a Mapping Record

Purpose

"Un-syncing" an item from a METRC facility means deleting that item's mapping record for the facility. Your Flourish item can stay synced to one facility while you remove its mapping to another. Use this when an item is mapped to a METRC facility it shouldn't be — either because it was synced to the wrong license, or because it was changed or deleted on the METRC side.

Prerequisites
  • Manage Settings and Inventory access.
  • A valid METRC API key on the facility you're syncing.

When to use this
Item synced to the wrong facility license

Many METRC clients run multiple facility licenses under one company. If you sync an item to the wrong license by mistake, the item shows as Out of Sync on All Items and you can't create packages with it. Removing the incorrect mapping restores the item to in sync, as long as at least one other in-sync mapping remains.

Item changed or deleted in METRC

When an item is synced with METRC and then changed in METRC, METRC doesn't push that change back to Flourish. If you delete or change the item in a METRC facility, un-sync it in Flourish for that facility so the Flourish item doesn't stay linked to an item that no longer matches (or no longer exists) in METRC.

After removing the mapping, click Sync Now! to recreate the Flourish item in the METRC facility and re-sync — this pushes the item's Flourish data back to METRC.

Remove a facility mapping
  1. Click Settings, then select Inventory.
  2. Locate the item and click the Item Name to edit it. Locate The Item
  3. Select State Eligibility.Select State Eligibility

  5. Find the facility whose mapping you want to remove, and click the X for that facility.Click the 'X' for the facility.
  6. Click Yes in the Remove Item Mapping dialog to confirm.Confirm the action

Flourish removes the mapping record. If the item was out of sync because of a wrong-facility mapping, it returns to in sync as long as a remaining mapping is still in sync. To re-create and re-sync the item to a facility, click Sync Now! for that facility.
