Removing an Order from the POS

If a customer does not show up to pay for their order, you’ll want to remove the order from the queue. In-Store, Pickup, and Delivery orders can all be removed from the POS or canceled and removed from the POS.

  1. In the POS, locate your retail order.
  2. Click the gray X icon. The Remove Customer From Queue modal will appear.
  1. Click the Remove from Queue button if the order needs to remain active.
  2. Click the Cancel Sale and Remove from Queue button if you also need to cancel the sale.
If the order has been partially paid, the Cancel Sale and Remove from Queue button will not be available. You can remove it from the queue or send it back to the shopping queue to remove some items if needed.
