Purpose

Use the Grow module to move plants between areas — either as a full group or as a subset of plants split from an existing group. Move plants from the Groups view or the Plants view depending on how you want to select them.

From The Groups View

Move a whole group

  1. Navigate to the Groups view.
  2. Locate the group you want to move.
  3. Click Actions > Move Group.

  4. On the Move group to a different area screen, select the Area Type.
  5. Select the Destination Area.
  6. Set the Move Date/Time.
  7. Click Confirm Move.

The system displays a success message when the move is complete.

Move plants from a group (Split Group)

Use this workflow to move one or more plants out of a group without moving the entire group.

  1. Navigate to the Groups view.
  2. Locate the group you want to move plants from.
  3. Click Action > Split Group.

On the Split Group screen, select whether to move by Entire Strain or by individual plant selection.

By Entire Strain
  1. Select Entire Strain.
  2. Select whether to create a new group or assign to an existing group.
  3. Enter or select the group details according to your selection.
  4. Set the Move Date.
  5. Click Split Group.

The system displays a success message when the split is complete.

By Plant Selection
  1. Select By plants for the plant selection option.
  2. Select whether to create a new group or assign to an existing group.
  3. Enter or select the group details according to your selection.
  4. Set the Move Date.
  5. Select the plants to move from the Active Plants list. Selected plants appear in the Plants to Split panel.
  6. Click Split Group.

The system displays a success message when the split is complete.

Move plants from the Plants view

Use this workflow when you want to select specific plants across the full plant list before moving.

  1. Navigate to the Plants view.
  2. Select the plants you want to move.
    • Ctrl/Cmd + click to select multiple rows or deselect a row.
    • Shift + click to select a sequence of rows.
    • Use % as a wildcard in search (e.g., ak%47).
    • Hover over the selected count to review selection details.
  3. Click Action > Move Plants.

The Split Group screen opens with your selected plants already populated in the Plants to Split panel.

  1. Select whether to create a new group or assign to an existing group.
  2. Enter or select the group details according to your selection.
  3. Set the Move Date.
  4. Review the plants in the Plants to Split panel. Deselect any plants you do not want to move.
  5. Click Split Group.

The system displays a success message when the move is complete.
