Item Not Available When Creating a Harvest Package

When you create a package from a harvest, and the item you want does not appear in the Select an item list. Follow these troubleshooting steps

Before you start

Confirm the facility and harvest you are working with. Item eligibility and Metrc sync status are evaluated for the selected facility, not across the entire company.

If you cannot view or change items, ask a Flourish administrator at your organization to help with the first check.

What to check

1. Confirm the facility settings allow creating a package and the matching weight bucket enabled

The item's Source Type must correspond to a weight bucket that is enabled for the facility and has available weight on the harvest.

1. Go to Settings > Configurations.
2. Select the facility where you are creating the package.
3. Find the Processing and Harvest sections.
4. Confirm that "Create packages from stage" is enabled
5. Confirm that the weight bucket for the item's source type is enabled.
6. Confirm that the harvest has an available weight recorded in that bucket.

For example, an item with a Flower source type requires the Flower weight bucket and the available flower weight. An item with a Trim source type requires the Trim weight bucket and available trim weight.

2. Confirm the item strain matches the harvest strain

Open the item and compare its assigned strain with the strain on the harvest. The item must use the same strain record as the harvest.

Strains with the same or similar display names may be separate records. If the names appear to match but the item is still unavailable, ask an administrator to confirm that the item and harvest are linked to the same strain record.

3. Confirm the item source type matches the harvest weight

Open the item and review its Source Type. It must match the type of weight you are packaging, such as Flower, Trim, Fresh Frozen, or Whole Plant.

For example, an item configured with a Trim source type is not eligible when you are packaging flower weight. Correct the item configuration or select an item whose source type matches the harvest weight you recorded.

4. For Metrc facilities, check the item's sync status

An item's Metrc sync status is synced separately for each facility license. An item can be In Sync at one facility and Out of Sync or Not Synced at another.

1. Go to Settings > Inventory and open the item.
2. Select State Eligibility.
3. Open the facility list and locate the facility where you are creating the package.
4. If the item is Out of Sync, view the sync detail and correct any specific validation error.
5. Select Sync Now! to retry the sync.

If the retry fails with a generic message that does not identify a correction, contact Flourish Support. Include the item name, facility, and a screenshot of the facility sync-status details.

Expected result

After the facility weight-bucket configuration, available harvest weight, item strain, source type, and, when applicable, Metrc sync status are correct for the selected facility, the item appears in the harvest package selector.
