Harvesting in Flourish: Overview

Purpose

This article walks through the harvest workflow in the Grow module, from cutting plants down to completing the harvest, and links to the guide for each step.

A typical harvest moves through two stages:

• Harvest: record wet weights right after cutting plants down. Metrc facilities sync the harvest to Metrc here. You can package wet material, such as fresh frozen, from this stage.
• Drying: once the material is dried and trimmed, record dry weights (or declare them as you package) and create inventory packages.

When all the weight is packaged, you complete the harvest.

1. Set Up Your Facility

Choose which wet and dry weights your facility records. Metrc facilities only need Whole weight at the Harvest stage.

2. Plan and Start the Harvest

• Adjust the Expected Harvest Date for a flowering group.
• To harvest only part of a plant, such as the tops, see Partially Harvest Plants (Create a Manicure Harvest).

3. Record Wet Weights

Record wet weights at the Harvest stage, right after cutting plants down.

• Record Wet Weights by Plant: type weights in, import a CSV, or apply an average. Required for Metrc.
• Record Wet Weights in Bulk (Non-Metrc): weigh by bin or container instead of by plant.
• Mobile App: Record Weights, Move, and Package: weigh on the floor, including with a Bluetooth scale.
• Change the Unit of Measure for Wet Weights if weights were entered in the wrong unit.

4. Package Wet Material (Optional)

If you sell or process material wet, package it from the Harvest stage.

5. Dry and Package

Move the harvest to Drying when the material is ready to dry and trim. From Drying, you can record dry weights first and package from that total, or skip that step and declare each package's weight as you create it.

6. Record Waste

Record wet and dry waste from the harvest with the Record waste action.

7. Complete the Harvest

Complete the harvest once all of its weight is packaged. You can reopen it later if needed. For Metrc facilities, completing and reopening also finish and unfinish the harvest in Metrc.

Fix a Harvest Started in Error

• Move a Harvest Back to Flowering: from the Harvest stage. Metrc facilities can only do this before the harvest syncs.
• Move a Harvest Back from Drying to Harvest (Non-Metrc): required first if the harvest is already in Drying.
