Symptom

You cannot add an expected order to a retail delivery route, or Flourish will not mark the route Out for Delivery.

Applies to

  • Product area: Retail delivery
  • Surface: Flourish Web
  • Integrations: Start with the Flourish checks below, then follow the article for your compliance system

Resolution

  1. Check the order status. The order must be Packed before it can be added to a delivery route. If it is Created or Submitted, finish allocating inventory and complete packing.
  2. Compare the delivery dates. The order's delivery date must match the route's delivery date. Correct the order or route date using the approved edit workflow.
  3. Check for another route assignment. An order already assigned to a route will not appear as available for a second route. Find the current route before removing or changing the assignment.
  4. Resolve cancelled orders. Flourish blocks a route from moving to Out for Delivery while a cancelled order remains attached. Open the route and remove or resolve the cancelled order.
  5. Review the route details. Confirm the departure time, vehicle, driver, stops, and planned route. Select the Till that should receive payment when prompted.
  6. Check permissions. Confirm that your role has permission to dispatch retail delivery routes.
  7. Read the full compliance error. If Flourish reaches an external validation and returns an error, stop and use the article for that integration:
    • Florida MMUR can validate the customer's available recommendation and the user's Deliverer access.
    • Florida BioTrack requires its manifest workflow and warns against adding orders after manifest creation.
    • METRC route and order changes can create, complete, or remove external delivery records.

Do not repeatedly create, void, or dispatch a route until you know whether an external record already exists.

When to contact support

Contact Flourish Support if the route and every order meet the documented requirements but dispatch still fails. Include:

  • Facility
  • Route ID and delivery date
  • Affected Purchase IDs and statuses
  • Vehicle and driver
  • Whether a manifest or external delivery record exists
  • The complete error message
  • The last action completed successfully
