    3. Improved the Trade Sample flag functionality for Metrc and released this for non-Metrc clients.

    1. We will submit inventory created through the "Create Inventory from BOM" screen in the Inventory module as a a processing job in Metrc states where this is relevant. As a reminder, these are now saved as completed Work Orders.

Settings

Label Maker Changes

Easily duplicate a label within Flourish's label maker. We also added SKU, UPC Number, NDC Number, and Part Number to the data fields that can be displayed as QR code or barcode.

Item Mangement

We made it easier to change the class and category for an item. Flourish also deployed Metrc categories for New York clients. As a reminder, here are the instructions to update item attributes using a CSV export/import.

Often, operators need to purchase in a vendor's unit of measure, such as a pallet, case, jug, etc. Best practice is to store raw materials in the usable unit of measure (typically gram or each). Flourish is releasing new support to define this UOM Conversion and use it for receiving. This feature will roll out to all clients in December. We will provide an update once it is generally available.

Retail Discounts

Usability enhancement for administrators who would like to easily duplicate a discount for Retail POS.

Inventory

Metrc Retail ID

Metrc is requiring all operators in New York to purchase and use thier Retail ID. We've released support for this functionality, including generating the Retail ID using the "Finished Goods" flag on a package, printing Retail IDs on a new label template, and scanning Retail IDs at Point of Sale.

NOTE: Flourish will roll this functionality out to other states soon. The process generating these is different in other states than New York, and Metrc indicated they were releasing updates to this feature set in "early December."

Lab Sampling - Specific Metrc States

Clients in states such as Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, New York, Ohio, and Washington DC are required to declare the Lab Test Batch (LTB) attribute when creating lab samples that sync to Metrc. Flourish now supports this as well as modifying the selected LTB if required.

Trade Samples

Flourish extended trade sample functionality to additional Metrc states, clients who use BioTrack, and states without a state traceablity system. This includes the ability to flag and unflag a package as a trade sample.

Count Inventory with a RFID Reader

Flourish now supports scanning RFID tags with an RFID Reader to count packages within inventory. This is a new inventory count method. Note: This feature requires the correct hardware. Metrc tags are RFID encoded, but this is not limited to Metrc operators. You can encode a RFID label with a Flourish package ID in other states using Flourish's Bartender or MarkMagic integrated labeling solutions.

The Android App will be updates on the Google Play Store this week. Please reach out if you are interested in adopting this feature.

Manufacturing

Flourish aligned the "Create Inventory from BOM" feature within the Inventory module to Metrc Processing jobs for operators who work within a Metrc state that requires submitting processing jobs.

Outbound

Users can right click on an order and open it into a new tab.

Retail

Two features are rolling out in December. We will provide an update once generally available.

First, Flourish is improving support for $0.00 sales in Metrc states where this is allowed.

Second, Flourish is releasing a new configuration to round retail sales to a specified denomination ($0.05, $0.10, $0.25) now that the penny is is being phased out. Review the documentation on this configuration here.

Bartender

Flourish's integration with Bartender now supports product labels. If you are looking for a more advanced label printing solution that is fully integrated with Flourish, please reach out for a quote. Flourish can also assist with renewals for existing Bartender licenses. We may be able to save you money.
