METRC Tags: Upload, Delete and Manage Tags
There are two different types of tags you will be uploading. Package tags and plant tags. On both action pages, you are able to Upload, Delete, and Manage Tags. Below are the steps to get to the action page for both of these tag types:
Package Tags
- Click on the Inventory Module
- Up at the top right of the screen click on Manage Package Tags
Plant Tags
- Click on the Inventory Module.
- At the top, Click Plants.
- Form the Dropdown Click All plants.
- On the right, Click Actions.
- Click Manage Plant Tags.
Upload tags
- Count the number of tags.
- Type the first tag into the Starting Tag Box.
- Type in the number of tags you counted in step one in the No. of Tags box.
The system will give you a preview of the first and last tag number before uploading
Delete tags
- You can simply click Delete next to the tag list on the left
- You can search by a tag number and delete it from there
To import CSV
Once you export a CSV from METRC, you can import the CSV into Flourish Software.
Export the tags from METRC
If you have a Cultivation facility, you have both Plant and Package tags to export and unload. Make sure you fiter for the Type of tag before you export from METRC.
- Log in to your METRC account.
- From your homepage, click on the Admin tab on the page's navigation bar.
- From the drop-down menu, click Tags.
- On the Tags screen, click Available.
- Filter for what type of tag you need to export (plant or package)
- To export, hover your mouse over the printer icon and choose the Excel Sheet option.
- Convert the Excel to a CSV.
Upload the CSV Flourish Software
If you imported all the available tags from METRC, you might need to delete available tags in Flourish before you import the CSV.
Once you click Manage Package Tags or Manage Plant Tags:
- Click Upload via CSV
- Drag and drop the CSV file or click
and locate the file to upload. To cancel, click Cancel. - Click UPLOAD.
- Click CLEAR to cancel.
