METRC Colorado "Use By Date" Requirement Change - 1/1/2024
Dear METRC Colorado Flourish Software Users,
We hope this message finds you well. We have an important update for our METRC Colorado clients regarding a regulatory change that will take effect on January 1, 2024.
New Use By Date Requirement
Starting from 1/1/2024, Colorado will require all cannabis businesses to submit a "Use By Date" for their package creations. To ensure compliance with this regulation, you must update the necessary settings for your items within the Flourish Software application.

Flourish Software Tools for Compliance
We are pleased to inform you that Flourish Software has already designed an item setting called "Shelf Days." This setting, when combined with activating the "Use By Date Req" toggle for an item, will be utilized to determine your package's "Use By Date."

Our "Bulk Item Update" tool is designed to streamline configuring the "Use By Date Req" and "Shelf Days" of your items and make it convenient for you to adhere to the new compliance requirements.
To guide you through the process, we have prepared a video tutorial demonstrating how to use the "Bulk Updater" tool. This tutorial will walk you through the step-by-step process of updating your items' configurations to include the "Use By Date" information.
