METRC CA Outbound Cultivation tax flexibility

The cultivation tax is no longer in effect as of 7/1/2022.

"Tax On, Tax Off!"

  • You can configure Flourish not to calculate cultivation taxes on outbound orders for your facility. This setting is the default behavior for all sales orders.
  • On an individual order eligible for cultivation tax, Flourish will allow you to turn On or Off the cultivation tax as needed.

Set the Default behavior

Set Flourish not to calculate cultivation taxes for your facility.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Configuration.
  3. Locate Outbound section.
  4. Toggle On Disable automatic cultivation tax calculation on allocated qty.
  5. Click

Regardless of the setting above, you can always change an individual order to include cultivation tax or not (if applicable).

Set the behavior per order

Toggle cultivation tax on/off on an individual Outbound Order:

  1. Go Outbound/Orders
  2. Locate the order
  3. Click
  4. Check the box next to Est. Cultivation Tax to include the automatic cultivation tax calculation.
  5. Uncheck the box next to Est. Cultivation Tax to exclude the automatic cultivation tax calculation.
  6. Click

What about Inbound?

You can edit the cultivation tax on Inbound Orders.
