Some customers may forget they have an account, create a new one with a different phone number or email, and submit a purchase.

You can change the customer on a retail order to resolve this situation quickly.

You can replace the customer for orders that are in the following statuses:

  • Created.
  • Submitted.
Once an order is in Packed status, you cannot replace the customer.

Prerequisites

Configure your user role to have the permission to edit the customer on the purchase.

Web App

  1. Click  Settings.
  2. Select User Roles.
  3. Make sure to select the facility you need.
  4. Click the pencil icon next to the Role to configure.
  5. Locate Retail.
  6. Click on the Actions menu next to Purchases.
  7. Toggle Change the customer associated with an order on.
  8. Click the to close the Actions for Retail Purchases modal.
  9. Click .

POS

  1. Click  Settings.
  2. Select User Roles.
  3. Make sure to select the facility you need.
  4. Select Point of Sale.
  5. Click the pencil icon next to the role to configure.
  6. Locate Shop.
  7. Click on the Actions menu next to Cart to open the Actions for Shop Cart modal:
  8. Toggle Change the customer associated with an order on.
  9. Click the to close the Actions for Shop Cart modal.
  10. Click .

Replace a Customer

Flourish ensures the customer you selected is legally allowed to purchase the items on order. The Customer must be verified to complete any purchases. See the Verification below.

Web App

  1. Go to Retail.
  2. Click on the PURCHASE ID you want to edit.
  3. Click Edit Purchase.
  4. Click Replace Customer.
  5. Use the following ways to search for the replacement customer:
    1. Search by Name.
    2. Search by Email.
    3. Search by Phone.
  6. Click Replace Customer.

POS

  1. On the POS, click Queue.
  2. Locate the purchase in In-Store or Pickups.
  3. Click on the name of the customer to display the Purchase.
  4. Hover over More.
  5. Select Replace Customer.
  6. Use the following ways to search for the replacement customer:

    1. Search by Name.
    2. Search by Email.
    3. Search by Phone.
  7. Click Replace Customer.

Verification

Flourish ensures the customer you selected is legally allowed to purchase the items on order. The customer must be verified to complete any purchases with cannabis product in the cart.

  • In a medical state, the customer must have a medical card with info entered into Flourish.
  • In a recreational state, the customer must be of legal age to purchase or have a medical card with info entered into Flourish Software.

If the replacement customer is not permitted for the purchase, Flourish will prompt a message similar to the below:
