Adding Payment Terminals & Assigning to a Till

Add and Pair a Payment Terminal

Purpose

Add a payment terminal in Flourish Web and pair it with a till so the till can process transactions through the terminal's payment method (for example, Point of Banking, POSaBIT, or Vector Payments).

Prerequisites

• Complete the provider's onboarding and obtain the required terminal details.
• Note that a terminal record in Flourish does not replace provider approval or physical terminal setup.
• At least 1 Till will need to be added to Flourish in order to pair a Terminal to a Till. Please see the Related Articles link below for How to Create a Till.

Add the Terminal

1. In Flourish Web, open Manage Settings.
2. Go to Retail > Terminals.
3. Select Add New Terminal.
4. Enter the terminal name and the provider-supplied terminal identifier or serial number.
5. Enter any additional provider credentials shown for the selected payment method.
6. Select Save.
7. After clicking Save, Select the facility, if required.

Pair the Terminal with a Till

1. Go to Manage Settings > Retail > Tills.
2. Select the facility.
3. Select the till.
4. Select Edit.
5. Choose the payment terminal.
6. Select Save.

Change or Remove the Pairing

Edit the till, then select a different terminal or remove the current terminal selection. Select Save and confirm the till shows the intended pairing.

You can also edit the terminal record under Retail > Terminals. Review all currently paired tills before disabling or changing provider credentials.

If the Terminal Is Unavailable at Checkout

Confirm that the terminal and till are enabled, use the same facility, and are paired. Then confirm that the facility payment method is enabled and the provider credentials are current.
