METRC CA - Edit cultivation tax on Inbound Orders

Manufacturers and distributors in California can edit the cultivation taxes on the inbound invoices.

The cultivation tax is no longer in effect as of 7/1/2022.

Zero out the Tax amount

We keep the taxes rates for data integrity, especially for inbound orders before 7/1/2022. You can easily set the taxes to zero, by following the steps here:

  1. Click on the METRC Order ID.
  2. Click .
  3. Click on the 'Refresh' icon next to .
  4. The number will be $0.00.
  5. Click .

Inbound Orders

Here is how you do it:

  1. Go to Inbound > Purchase Orders.
  2. Click on the PO # that you want to edit.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. You can let Flourish calculate the tax by clicking the refresh button next to Est. Taxes.
  5. Verify the Est. Taxes are correct.
  6. If you are content with the results, click Done Editing.
  7. If you want to set the tax amount per order line manually, enter the amount for the taxes.
  8. Verify the Est. Taxes are correct.
  9. Click Done Editing.

If you want the system to overwrite the taxes that you updated manually:

  1. Click the refresh button next to Est. Taxes.
  2. The system will ask you to confirm.
  3. To confirm, click Proceed.
  4. Click Done Editing.
